i was returning home from a movie tonight, dropping off a friend at her condo that is 1 block from my house, when i realized that everything a girl could ask for is on Old Canton Road (by our houses). Here's a list of things we came up with:
(in order of importance)
1. a new DQ
2. Chinese takeout that can be ready in 5 minutes flat
3. Courthouse gym (literally 100 yds from my front steps)
4. VIP Nails
5. Amerigo
6. Fred's dollar store
7. both of my banks
8. Blockbuster
9. my dry cleaners
10. my grocery store
11. my drug store (where the pharmacist says "Hello, Heather")
12. a huge produce stand
13. the best bakery in Jackson
14. drive-thru coffee
15. and last but not least- i can get to Northpark in 3 minutes!
THIS is why i live in Northeast Jackson!
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
